Take the Weights!

This is an invitation to join me as custodian of the publically available weights of cutting edge LLMs.

GLM5.3 and GLM5.3 flash from Z.ai, China are the latest available open source llms. Thay are among the fastest, cheapest, smartest and smallest public models. They are much better at hacking too, so there is powerful demand for their censorship. If you value talking to smart LLMs, take the weights to secure that privilege.

Those vicious archons of reality can control the public representation of things, they can control the public infrastructure of technology, and they can gate access to their own infrastructure.

Nevertheless, the cold hard advances of science are immutable because no government can erase a distributed public ledger.
Once the cat is out of the bag, it can never be contained; that's the hard reality of science.

You will need a 3TB harddrive which might cost maybe $90.
Format the harddrive for linux for convenience later on.
Choose the larger downloads because they are more versatile files.
Avoid uncensored or abliterated models because they are not official releases.
If you need an uncensored model, uncensor it yourself or manually verify the model's capabilities before storage.
